What happened to my leaf pile???

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, Dane woke up with a fever so we had to skip all of the annual Rockton Christmas Walk festivities. I was near tears when I realized he would miss out one seeing Santa that day and most of all the Lighted Christmas Parade. We had big plans with our Lifelink friends to meet at the Clausen's house for pizza and then go as a group to the parade. You know how I hate missing the fun!

We are in the beginning hours today of a large snowstorm and have already seen a couple of inches. Dane seemed a little peppier today I couldn't resist taking him out to discover the snow. The first couple of minutes he was a little frustrated that the snow had gotten all over his favorite pile of leaves (assembled by Grandma and Grandpa Miller just before they flew south for the winter). But then he started to have more fun.

I'd like to thank Auntie Jill for the every stitch of winter gear he is wearing in this video. Literally from his head to his toes he is covered in very nice hand me downs from his Colorado cousins, Sam and Will.
