For Dane's second birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Green and Grandma and Grandpa Miller gifted him a class for the winter. It was a tough choice between music and tumbling. After hearing rave reviews about the Tumble Tots class at Kids Spot in Roscoe we went with there. It's a mommy-and-me class every Wednesday morning for ten weeks.
We are a couple of weeks into it and Dane loves it! His teacher is Miss Kristy and there is only one other child in the class so he gets lots of one-on-one instruction. My initial expectation for the class was a loosely structured playtime and at some point work up to a somersault that he would have mastered at the end of ten weeks. Within the first fifteen minutes of class he was somersaulting down a blue wedge called "blueberry hill" and jumping on a trampoline so I knew the class was worth every penny.
I am so proud of how well he follows Miss Kristy's directions and his willingness to try anything and everything she asks of him. It's so exciting to watch him discover all the new things he can do!
Thank you Grandmas and Grandpas!!
He likes swinging on the rings and the bars but his favorite is sliding or jumping into the foam pit and then crawling to the other side where he bounces on the trampoline. Daddy is a little jealous and thinks a foam pit is just what the barn is missing. I think he has watched too many episodes of Fantasy Factory and Nitro Circus! lol
