Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's House

Dane with his cousins, Will and Sam
Dane and I recently spent several days at my parents' house in the Quad Cities. My brother, Nathan, his wife Jill, and their boys Sam and Will were visiting from Colorado. It was definitely the cure for the home-sickness I'd been having!

We are a very close extended family and one of my biggest wishes for Dane is that he has the same bond with his cousins. It was such a delight to see the boys having so much fun together and my parents were in heaven having all three grandsons under their roof!

We doubled-down on the floaties and Dane was thrilled to be so independent, yet closely supervised, in the pool.

Blowing bubbles in the water is still a favorite trick.

It's a little dark but that's baby Jack under the sunhat :)

Swimming with Eileen, Kendall, Carson, and little Jack at the Wendt's pool.

Part of the fun of Grandma's house is having breakfast on the patio!

Your parents' smile are priceless. Glad you got to have a reunion. Our internet has been acting up so I haven't had time to update our blog.
